What began as a hobby has evolved into something more. I’m proud of the journey I’ve endured and even more excited for what’s ahead.

Hi, I’m Liz! I’m a design student currently pursuing my Bachelor of Arts in Design at California State University, Long Beach.

My creative journey began in 2022 when I took a pottery class at a local studio. What started as curiosity quickly became something more. I was drawn not only to the process of creating, but also to researching what I was making. My strong curiosity led me to learning about the materials, techniques, and intention. That experience led me to enroll in a pottery class at Long Beach City College, where I soon found myself pursuing an Associate’s degree for transfer.

Through pottery, I realized how much I love to create and explore ideas more deeply. That experience ultimately led me to pursue design.

Today, I focus on UX and product design, creating thoughtful, user-centered work that balances function and form.

Outside of school, I continue to explore creativity through pottery and floral design. I also enjoy traveling to different countries, where I can experience new cultures and gain new perspectives.
